Chocolate Dessert Sandwich


Makes 4 servings
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Total Time: 15 minutes



INGREDIENTS
2 slices 100% whole wheat bread (about 70 calories per slice)
1 ounce Hershey's All Natural Extra
Dark 60% Cacao
2 tablespoons All Whites, 100% Liquid Egg Whites
1 tablespoon Silk Soy Milk
vegetable oil cooking spray


DIRECTIONS
  1. Heat a heavy bottom skillet over medium heat.
  2. In a double boiler over medium heat or in a microwave oven melt chocolate. Spread chocolate on one side of once slice of the bread and make a sandwich.
  3. In a small bowl wisk together the egg white and milk. Pour mixture onto a deep plate.
  4. Place sandwich on plate to soak up the egg mixture and then turn the sandwich to soak up the remaining egg mixture.
  5. Spray the pan and place sandwich in the pan till browned on one side, about 4 minutes. Flip the sandwich and brown the other side, about 4 additional minutes.
  6. Remove the sandwich from the pan, cut and serve immediately.
