Ready for a Challenge? That’s exactly what losing weight and becoming healthier is—a challenging journey with highs and lows and life-changing rewards. Many of you have been on this journey before and may be wondering: What’s so different about my approach?

As a member of the Challenge, you'll get a plan based on The Best Life Diet, just not as detailed. Over the course of this Challenge year, you will be exhilarated when you see the numbers drop on the scale, and may feel frustrated when they don’t. Remember, the longer you practice healthy behaviors, the easier it gets. And the reward—living your best life—is invaluable.

Then, you can start the program by clicking the My Challenge Plan button above.

Years ago, I was stuck on the diet rollercoaster. I’d lose weight, only to gain it back—and more. When I hit 237 pounds in 1992, I’d nearly lost hope of ever achieving a healthy weight. But with Bob Greene’s help, I was able to do it. We did it in two steps: First I became active, and then I improved my diet. Throughout the entire process, I forced myself to face the really tough questions, like why I overeat and why I need to turn to food for comfort.
